"An insanely original singer/songwriter. While listening to Deborah, all
one can do is just sit back and enjoy the ride through her wickedly imaginative, joyfully creative and always entertaining mind."

Deborah Poppink creates a highly original sassy and soulful alternative pop. She calls it DebPop; it’s down-to-earth and cutting edge. The unique blend of her passionate voice and marvelous musicianship mixes inspiration, entertainment and sugar.
Her songs can be heard on The X-Files, Jack and Jill and in the soon-to-be-released feature film, Love Thy Neighbor. She performs all over the world and is signed with Bug Music and BMI. While actively licensing her extensive catalogue to film and TV, she writes and performs songs for children living with cancer through The Neil Bogart Foundation and the Songs of Love Foundation.
A mix of Italian, Russian, Dutch, Danish and Scottish blood, Deborah was born in Savannah, Georgia. When she was three, she and her parents moved to Playa Del Rey, California to participate in the expressionistic art scene. Deborah, imbedded in this creative climate, began playing piano, singing and dancing. She wrote songs while attending U.C. Berkeley where she studied voice, drums, guitar, and piano as well as sociology, Italian and astronomy. Upon graduating from Cal, Deborah began teaching music privately and traveling around the world, performing and writing with her guitar.
Recently, TreeTop Records has signed Deborah and has released not one, but two CDs of DebPop material. Chasing Lunatics includes the dark alternative-pop song "Hit Girl" featured on The X-Files. The Wheel’s title track is the song that airs on two episodes of the WB show Jack and Jill. The Wheel also includes "Addicted" featured in the Roy Sheider film "Love Thy Neighbor".
Keep your eyes out. Deborah will be coming soon to a town near you!
